THE SOPHISTICATS

The South Adelaide Football Club Cheerleaders, 'The Sophisticats' are an over 18 group of volunteers supporting the Panthers. They add to the game day atmosphere by performing at each home match and also raise funds for the football club by selling raffle tickets at each game.

The Sophisticats also assist at various SAFC functions and perform at community events such as the Beach Road Christmas Pageant. At the end of the year, The Sophisticats showcase their routines at the End of Year Concert & Awards.

Auditions are held at the beginning of each year for anyone wanting to be a part of the team.

THE SOPHISTIKITTENS

SAFC also run a cheerleading program for anyone aged from 5-17 who wishes to learn beginner- intermediate cheerleading skills and routines similar to The Sophisticats. Classes are run during schools terms and the teams also have the opportunity to perform at several home matches throughout the season. The Sophistikittens also perform at the End of Year Concert & Awards.
